As a Senior Data Analyst in the retention team, you will focus on enhancing customer understanding and retention strategies. Your role will involve analyzing customer data to optimize communication strategies, understand purchasing behaviors, and improve customer lifetime value. You will dive into marketing analysis and demographic trends to support a data-driven approach to customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize customer data to refine communication strategies and enhance customer retention.
  • Analyze customer lifetime value and dive into marketing analysis to understand demographic trends and patterns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data for improving customer service and retention efforts.
  • Assist with the handover and integration during a team transition, bridging gaps and supporting fast-paced work.

Experience Required:

  • Several years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst.
  • Proficiency with DBT and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with Looker preferred; alternatively, experience with building self-service dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proven experience in managing and building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of customer lifetime value, customer behavior, and retention strategies.
  • Experience in start-up or scale-up environments, or similar fast-paced settings (such as Insurtech).
  • Background in subscription-based companies is a plus, especially within retention.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments and iterative approaches with a focus on learning from failures.
  • Experience working in an agile environment is ideal.

Compensation:

  • Day rate of £550 - £650 per day, outside IR35.
  • 6-month contract position.
