Permanent People is excited to recruit for a rare and warm desk opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to join the Cardiff office.


The Opportunity

The successful candidate will inherit a well-established permanent desk, focusing on HR and Business Support across South Wales and the South West. This desk has a history of high billings and strong relationships within the sector. Our client seeks a high-quality recruiter to take over this fantastic desk and continue its growth.

With daily incoming business and significant growth driven by focused business development, this role offers an excellent chance to further develop the desk based on the work already accomplished. Additionally, there are future management opportunities within the company, with plans for progression in this role.


Experience Needed

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • A strong billing track record on a permanent desk, ideally within a professional services sector such as HR, business support, accountancy & finance, or legal recruitment.
  • At least 3+ years of experience managing a permanent desk.
  • The ability to leverage existing relationships while building new ones through effective account management and sales.
  • A professional and commercial mindset, with the capability to mentor consultants within the team.
