The Membership Team is responsible for supporting customer access to the trading services of London Stock Exchange and Turquoise. Our aim is to facilitate customers' trading activity with LSEG's equities trading venues in as efficient a way as possible, delivering a superior service to customers. The jobholder will join the team in London managing new member applications and changes to trading access. The role requires extensive engagement with clients and other stakeholders to support customer timelines and the delivery of new liquidity.

Role Responsibilities
  • Acting as subject matter expert, advise customers and colleagues on requirements for membership and accessing LSE trading services
  • Working closely with Business Development Team, support applicants in becoming member firms of the London Stock Exchange and Turquoise venues and making changes to their membership profiles
  • Manage support for member firms and new membership applicants, ensuring that any issues that arise with profile changes and membership applications are quickly and professionally resolved and/or escalated
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and external stakeholders (e.g. central counterparties, clearing and settlement providers) to ensure the timely implementation of member firm changes and new member admissions.
  • Manage completion of Know-your-client checks, in line with agreed due diligence and anti-money laundering procedures; review colleague assessments and recommendations for membership
  • Maintain metrics relating to the membership process and support Head of Membership with reporting on business performance
  • Identify and support changes to procedures to improve customer experience and ensure data integrity; maintain and update procedure and control documentation where required
  • Identify where LSEG has a product(s) which can meet genuine client need and pass leads to Sales and Product teams
  • Represent membership team in new initiatives and projects, identifying impacts to membership and related systems

Candidate Profile
  • Graduate or of graduate calibre
  • Relevant professional experience in financial markets and trading products;
  • Strong communicator with a genuine desire to find solutions which facilitate client business
  • Confident representing the company with clients and prospective clients
  • Understanding of KYC and AML checks would be beneficial
