OVERVIEW


The Installation Coordinator plays a central role in coordinating various aspects of the installation process,from planning and organising to leading and controlling, with the ultimate goal of achieving successful project outcomes.


The installation manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation process of product and staff resources, ensuring that installations are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards.


You should bring in creativity and innovation and be able to apply effective communications whilst setting and managing expectations.


You think outside the box and approach problems from different angles that would lead you to an effective solution.


COMPETENCIES:


  • Communication and collaboration Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure effective communication within the team.
  • Conduct briefs with team leaders and assign tasks for jobs
  • Collaborate and conduct weekly briefs with relevant departments to ensure the installation team is constantly improving and in line with deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the production construction manager to ensure decor and props meet the required standard to meet client needs and to ensure damaged items are repaired in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with project managers and work on the project management boards to bring jobs to life.
  • Deep understanding of the products, systems, or equipment being installed, including their specifications, components, functionalities, and integration requirements.
  • Familiar with construction methods, materials, and best practices to ensure installations are structurally sound and comply with industry standards.



SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES


  • You will need to demonstrate adaptability and this is a fast paced role.
  • You are a motivator as you will be working closely with the installation team, including subcontractors and support staff.
  • Monitor all Installations, conduct reviews and get feedback continuously to look at ways we can improve the process or training requirements.
  • Establish an effective way of working and implement correct handlings of jobs.
  • Ensure riggers are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively. Ensure all jobs have workstations and teams are reminded to return and account for all tools.
  • Work with HR to recruit new riggers, arrange relevant training.
  • Create a metrics board for all riggers.
  • Help improve and up skill installation members and strive to create strong teams with a great
  • Understanding of our props and methods.
  • Monitor team performance and manage poor performance accordingly.
  • Ensure you are familiar with the company processes, policies and procedures and guarantee your team are aware and kept up to date should there be any changes.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed all the time.
  • Ensure company vehicles are well maintained and any repairs required are reported.
  • First point of contact for all installation enquiries.
  • Problem Solving and decision making skills:
  • Address installation challenges and unexpected issues with creativity and efficiency.
  • Develop solutions to minimise disruptions and ensure successful installations.
