Warehouse Assistant / Plumbing Assistant
In this role you will work as part of our external and internal teams of staff.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assisting customers
- Providing excellent customer service
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking and checking orders
- Storing stock safely
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
- Customer facing role in the warehouse
- Supporting the plumbing and heating manager with stock control
- Handling general building materials as well as plumbing and heating products.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Counterbalance Forklift Licence is desirable
- Building industry or plumber’s merchant knowledge would be preferred but not essential
- Drivers licence preferred but not essential
- Confident dealing with people face to face
You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our customers on a daily basis so we are looking for someone that:
- Has the likeability factor
- Has excellent customer service
- Hard working
- Positive attitude
- Good attention to detail.
