Duration: 6 months plus possible extension
Location: Glasgow (twice per month)
Objective:
We seek a skilled Hardware Asset Management (HAM) PRO specialist to lead the design, implementation, and governance of end-to-end hardware asset processes within the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures compliance and efficiency in the SACM framework, focusing on asset lifecycle management, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Develop and support workflows and data capture for the hardware asset lifecycle, from procurement to disposal.
- TCO Tracking: Record and monitor all costs, including purchase, maintenance, warranty, depreciation, and disposal.
- ServiceNow HAM PRO Optimization: Collaborate with platform teams to enhance HAM PRO functionality and processes.
- Inventory Accuracy: Maintain precise hardware inventory with automated and manual processes.
- Process Improvements: Identify and implement efficiency-enhancing improvements.
- Audits and Metrics: Support verification processes, audits, and KPI/reporting solutions for asset data accuracy and coverage.
- Access Control: Assist in defining and implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) in ServiceNow.
- Data Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve asset-related data issues effectively.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation.
- Training Materials: Develop and deliver training to improve HAM understanding and compliance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Procurement, Finance, and IT teams to meet HAM objectives.
