Job Title: HR Administrator

Salary: £45,000 + Exceptional Benefits

Location: Central London

Hybrid: 3 Office / 2 Home

Leading US law firm are looking for an HR administrative assistant to provide a wide range of administrative and office support to the HR and managerial team in London, reporting directly to the Director of Administration. This is a generalist role and will initially be offered as an 18 month FTC.

A selection of duties will include:

  • Diary management: scheduling meetings and appointments, booking and arranging travel;
  • Monitoring and reporting on compliance to remote working and other Firm policies escalating any issues to the Director of Administration as necessary;
  • Working with the Director of Benefits and the benefits team, acting as the point of contact for London employee benefit queries, including; delivery of benefits presentation to new employees, setting up/cancelling memberships, maintaining and updating records and employee benefits files, annual renewal assistance, providing updates to payroll;
  • Assisting with coordinating team rotas ensuring sufficient cover is in place, as well as dealing with last minute absences/cover issues;
  • Preparing and modifying documents, including correspondence, policies, reports, drafts, memoranda and emails;
  • Assisting with reviewing and keeping the Firm’s London intranet pages up-to-date;
  • Processing expenses/invoices in Chrome River;
  • Supporting the managerial team if/when cover may be required in their departments;
  • Maintaining and updating the vendor tracker;
  • Monitoring and reporting on compliance to remote working and other Firm policies;

This is an administrative role in a small HR team for a top US law firm, and there will be extensive liaison with senior management in both London and the US and so it is essential that you have exceptional communication skills and razor sharp attention to detail. You must also have excellent problem solving skills and ability to apply good judgment in decision-making.

In terms of experience, you must have HR experience from another corporate/ office environment. Professionalism and discreetness are of the utmost importance.
