Swindon UK, Wiltshire, United Kingdom KBR, Inc. Full time

About KBR and the Project

KBR has developed and implemented an innovative, cost-effective solution for the strategic management of estates and facilities services. The Estates Intelligence model and our 6 A methodology; Aggregation, Automation, Asset Management, Assurance, Audit and Analytics, enable the strategic management of estates and facilities services, which is an evolving model in the FM market.

As part of the ongoing growth of its Estates Intelligence, KBR is actively recruiting to expand its team to deliver current and future public sector Estates Intelligence contracts.

About the Role

The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will be accountable to the Business Intelligence Product Manager, working as part of the Estates Intelligence BI team. This team supports multiple Estates Intelligence projects and understands estates and facilities challenges and opportunities.

The BI Analyst will work across multiple projects, analysing data taken from project-specific transactional data and reporting systems, focused on areas such as supply chain performance, estate compliance, asset management and estates costs.

Have the ability and knowledge to produce dashboards in line with an agreed standard and understand the importance of data preparation and accuracy.

Identify and facilitate investigations to prove a hypothesis or explore the data to understand and explain underlying causes, issues and trends. They should be able to identify previously undiscovered issues – identifying potential areas of concern before the client is aware.

Utilise the tools available and emerging technologies to help develop solutions for our clients and internal stakeholders with a positive and proactive approach.

The BI Analyst will have knowledge and understanding of the data streams linked to Power BI and the measures and calculations required to transform the data into accurate insightful dashboards.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential:

Proven analytical skills and utilisation of data to produce client reports.

Proven experience of Power BI – Desktop & Service – ideally with knowledge of Fabric features such as Data Engineering, Factory & Science.

Good understanding of SQL.

Hold or be eligible to obtain security clearance.

Desirable:

Familiar with Power suite.

Previous experience with ML languages and practices.

Experience of technical specification authoring.

Experience of a broad scope of estates management reporting within a similar environment.

Knowledge of Concept Evolution or other CAFM systems.

Experience within a FM related role.

The role is hybrid. Swindon based (3 days per week) and WFH.
