Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an Talent Acquisition Specialist for an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £25.00/hour PAYE. These roles will be a hybrid of home and office working. The working hours are 35 hours per week.


Responsibilities:


- Provision of high quality and consistent Recruitment advice and guidance on all aspects of Recruitment including employment legislation.

- Support the Talent Acquisition Manager in the successful design and implementation of new staff recruitment processes and procedures.

- Assist with the delivery of Recruitment projects and initiatives and where required deliver/support awareness sessions/training within the business area.

- Advise Hiring Managers on market trends relating to their specific business areas.

- Decide on best route to market for each vacancy in line with budgetary constraints.

- Provide guidance and assist Senior Managers in the delivery of organisational change in relation to their recruitment plan.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of Recruitment policies, including raising awareness within the organisation.

- Manage and direct Talent Acquisition Officers and Recruitment Administrators, ensuring their development and continuous improvement.

- Continuous improvement by monitoring and identifying inefficiencies in the recruitment process.

- Work in partnership with Hiring Managers to anticipate future recruitment needs and plan accordingly.

- To recruit specialist roles using a variety of recruitment tools. Utilising sourcing by Boolean search, Social Media, Headhunting as well as working in partnership with Executive Search companies when required.

- Trend analysis across a number of HR Recruitment related matters, extracting and collating statistical information as required, with onward presentation to management/customers/stakeholders as appropriate.

- Provide management information, data reports and briefings to Hiring Managers and Senior Recruitment Business Partner as required.

- Undertake benchmarking, identifying and suggesting areas for action and improvement.

- Responsibility for tracking and reporting on agency spend and advertising budget.

- To manage the day-to-day relationship with external Suppliers.

- Oversee and manage all purchase orders and invoice payments relating to designated business areas.

- Lead by example and support the ongoing delivery of all key stages of the selection process.

- Support implementation of e-recruitment solutions, assess and deliver training needs as required.

- To ensure staff compliance with policy, process and protocols.

- Act at all times in accordance with the principles of integrity, fairness, respect and human rights in alignment with organisational code of ethics and values.

- Will be responsible for managing and assessing risk within all areas of managerial/supervisory responsibility.


Essential Skills:


- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a management or business related subject with significant relevant experience or extensive experience in a similar role.

- Exemplary communication skills with ability to communicate, interact and influence at all levels of the organisation.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Excellent organisational skills.

- Champions a customer centric approach to service delivery.

- Ability to multi task and prioritise work to meet deadlines.

- Previous Direct Recruitment experience in both Contract and permanent hiring in a large, complex organisation.

- In-depth experience of multi-channel candidate sourcing, including Boolean searches, social media platforms and headhunting.

- Experience providing recruitment support and guidance during organisational change/restructure.

- Experience of managing recruitment budgets.

- Experience of leading and managing a small to medium HR/Recruitment team.

- Experience of Stakeholder management with excellent influencing and negotiating skills.

- Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.



Desirable Skills:


- Knowledge of the Equality Act 2010.

- Knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018.
