What you’ll do

As the Development Lead and Scrum Master, you will lead a Scrum team to drive the continued development and innovation of Mercury’s award-winning Dynamics D365-based SaaS product.


  • Recruit and develop a self-organising, cross-functional team of talented Developers and QA Engineers.
  • Champion Scrum and Agile methodologies, facilitating all key events to keep the team motivated, organised, and focused on achieving sprint goals.
  • Work with the Development Manager to enhance and grow the team, aligning skillsets with project requirements and future growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Owners to prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring the delivery of high-impact features and improvements.
  • Coordinate with DevOps and Release teams to maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and manage smooth, regular software releases, enhancing our product suite.

  • You are a certified/experienced Scrum Master, ready to bring your expertise to our dynamic team.
  • With a track record of leading an Agile software development team/s, you consistently drive the delivery of high-quality product increments.
  • Your collaboration with Product Owners ensures a continuous flow of refined, high-value work that keeps the team productive and motivated.
  • As a mentor and coach, you excel in line management, fostering both your own growth and that of your team.
  • Your keen attention to detail and commitment to quality standards shine, even in fast-paced and demanding environments.


Desirable

  • Experience working with Azure DevOps for backlog and sprint coordination.
  • Technical background, preferably as a Developer or QA Engineer.
  • Experience working in Power Platform and Dynamics 365.

At Mercury, we believe in the power of face-to-face collaboration. That’s why we encourage our team members to join us at our Coleshill office 2 days per week. However, we’re all about flexibility, so we support remote work the remaining days if that’s your preference.
