Role Overview:

As a D365 Technical Specialist, you will provide advanced technical expertise in one or more technologies, contributing to the development of complex technical solutions to meet business needs. This role requires deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 and related technologies, as well as the ability to lead technical evaluations, resolve complex issues, and influence the technical direction of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical consultancy within your area of specialization.
  • Design and deliver advanced technical solutions that address business requirements.
  • Assist in resolving complex technical issues by investigating root causes and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Provide technical feedback and impact assessments to internal teams and departments, helping to define technical standards and documentation.
  • Contribute to the creation and review of technical standards, documentation, and methodologies.
  • Evaluate a range of options and use sound judgment to develop solutions within your area of expertise.
  • Influence the direction of your specialist area at a senior level.
  • Advise on technical aspects of system development and integration, ensuring adherence to relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
  • Participate in peer reviews of deliverables and provide formal/informal reviews of technical designs, standards, documentation, and implementations.
  • Mentor and guide colleagues, fostering knowledge acquisition and providing expert technical advice.


Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing).
  • Expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
  • Extensive experience in configuring Dynamics 365 CE entities, forms, workflows, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and integration solutions.
  • Deep technical knowledge of the specialist platform, staying updated on the latest developments and commonly used products.
  • Ability to apply specialist knowledge to solve complex technical problems.
  • Broad understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
  • Expert-level knowledge of system development techniques and methodologies.
  • Proven experience leading technical evaluations successfully.
