What you'll do
  • Act as the technical lead to a team of engineers working cross-functionally in an agile environment
  • Be a top-notch coder and an expert in the domain, capable of deep diving into implementation details of components and features across the technology stacks
  • Be at the forefront of significant technology initiatives from inception to successful deployment
  • Help shape the technical direction and the improvement of tools and processes across the department
  • Take ownership of code quality and upkeep of front end repositories
  • Help lead our front end developers community of practice
  • Lead and mentor developers
What you'll bring
  • An extensive client-side JavaScript experience
  • Detailed knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, in particular React
  • Excellent HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Experience with GraphQL and TypeScript would be beneficial
  • Ideally some experience with Java
  • Experience following coding standards and performing peer code reviews
  • Experience with CI pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
  • Experience leading small to medium-sized software engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
