Key Responsibilities:


We're in search of a skilled and seasoned Software Developer in Test to become a valued member of our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in crafting and deploying automated testing solutions to uphold the reliability and performance of our software offerings. You'll collaborate closely with development teams, embedding testing practices into the software development lifecycle, and upholding exemplary quality standards across the release process.


Automated Test Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts in Playwright using TypeScript to validate software functionality.

Automated Test Suite Implementation: Implement and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure robust software performance.

Collaborative Development Integration: Work closely with software developers to comprehend application architecture and design, fostering seamless integration of automated testing.

CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Integrate automated testing into the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.

Test Planning Contribution: Contribute to test planning activities, crafting comprehensive test cases and scenarios to enhance software quality.

Manual Testing Execution: Execute manual testing when necessary and provide meticulous documentation of test results to support software validation efforts.

Defect Identification and Resolution: Identify, document, and prioritise software defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolutions and root cause analysis.

Root Cause Analysis and Prevention: Perform root cause analysis for defects and implement preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences, ensuring software reliability.

Performance Testing Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish performance testing requirements, ensuring optimal software performance under varying conditions.

Continuous Learning and Best Practices: Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in software testing and test automation, driving continuous improvement in testing methodologies.


Key skills:


  • Demonstrated proficiency in test automation utilising tools/frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Appium.
  • Exceptional programming skills in Java, Python, or C# for robust automation solutions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software development practices and methodologies.
  • Advanced scripting and programming proficiency for effective test automation.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Thorough familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Hands on experience with test automation tools including Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Appium.
  • Proficient in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
  • Competence in utilising performance testing tools like Apache JMeter for comprehensive testing
