Salary: £60k - £70k + Bonus + Benefits

The Role:


As a Financial Accountant, you’ll be a key player in the Finance team. You’ll take the lead on financial reporting, statutory accounting, and tax management—delivering accurate, timely results that steer business decisions. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll influence strategy while driving process improvements to keep the business ahead of the game.


What You’ll Do:


  • Own the month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Oversee VAT, Corporation Tax, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Deliver accurate financial statements and lead the external audit process.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management.
  • Collaborate on process improvements and automation projects.
  • Maintain strong financial controls across the organisation.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with 3-5 years of total experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Excel skills - financial modelling a plus.
  • Experience in automation of financial reporting
  • Experience in banking, asset management, or lending is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A knack for improving processes and driving efficiency.
