Role Overview:

Finatal is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Controller to join our team and provide pivotal financial leadership during an exciting phase of growth. Reporting to the CFO, you will ensure financial accuracy, strengthen processes, and support strategic decision-making within this multi-entity organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Drive improvements in financial controls, processes, and systems.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with PE expectations.
  • Support financial due diligence for potential acquisitions.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team.
  • Prepare board packs and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and regulatory requirements.


Requirements:

  • Experience within a private equity backed business.
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with proven experience in private equity-backed businesses.
  • Strong background in the travel, hospitality, or multi-entity sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in improving financial processes and systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
