Health Safety & Environment Manager - Oxfordshire/Hybrid


Austin Fraser is currently supporting an innovative and growing manufacturing organisation who are looking for an experienced Health Safety & Environment Manager in Oxfordshire.


They are looking for this individual to play a key role in shaping and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management across the organisation, ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry standards.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Health and Safety Manager or similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) or equivalent certification required.
  • Experience in Health Safety and Environmental Management systems and procedures.
  • Previous experience of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and/or OHSAS 18001.
  • Experience with safe working practices including conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
  • A good understanding with current legislation and its impact on the business
  • Proficiency in health and safety management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Competent in developing systems and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, HSE).


Additional Information:

  • The role will require occasional travel between sites.
  • The HSE Manager will oversee two direct reports and support the executive team in HS&E matters.
