Key Responsibilities



  • Manages the mise en place for delivering unique Pastry items whilst preparing for busy shifts in the restaurant.
  • Will be well versed in the preparation as well as presenting of the pastry items on the menu to the highest possible standard, and ensuring recipes are followed methodically and systematically whilst keeping pace during busy periods.
  • Instruct and lead subordinates in the designated area through their daily requirements and actively take part in the setting up of special functions, and master classes.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently and coordinate with the head chef.
  • Ensure that at all times the kitchen is clean, hygienic, well maintained and at its best and kitchen cleaning & closedown checklists are implemented
