Edmundson Electrical Ltd are looking for an experienced Business Systems Project Manager to join our quality driven application development team
We are the UK’s largest electrical wholesaler, distributing an extensive range of top branded products from the world’s leading manufacturers and operating from more than 400 locations across our trading divisions.
Our Systems & Procedures Department provides an important role in developing the Company’s business systems and continually reviewing and streamlining our business processes.

Job Description
- Business Systems Project Manager, responsible for the development of a series of bespoke business applications, to improve business processes and provide information to aid decision making.
- A permanent position in our Systems & Procedures Department based full-time at our office in Knutsford, Cheshire.
- This is a leadership role, with responsibility for mentoring, inspiring and guiding the effort of a dedicated team.
NOTE: The role will be supported by our internal experienced application testing team and technical experts.
Key Requirements
- At least 10 years relevant experience in leading successful Business System Development Projects.
- Relevant project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, APM, PPM, PMI etc).
- Experience working with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
- Comfortable travelling when required to liaise with business system users, programming agencies etc.
- Passionate about developing talent in your team.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Liasing with senior management to identify both tactical and strategic developments.
- Clarifying requirements with business system users and other stakeholders.
- Management of a series of application development projects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Management and mentoring of an internal application development team.
- Management of external programming agencies.
