A great opportunity has been created for a talented Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join our HSE team at our Forest Gate bakery (E7 8BN).

The Role:

  • To effectively coordinate Health, Safety & Environmental activities for the site ensuring that all agreed targets and activities are achieved in a timely manner.
  • You will be responsible for undertaking and advising upon Health, Safety and Environment activities on site.
  • Deputise for the Health, Safety and Environment Manager


Essential

  • NEBOSH level 3 General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
  • 3 years experience implementing Health, Safety and Environment in a manufacturing environment at an advisor/officer level
  • Strong working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislation and systems


Desirable

  • NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ5/6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health
  • 5+ years experience implementing Health, Safety and Environment in a food manufacturing environment at an advisor/officer level or above
  • Excellent working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislation and systems
  • IEMA certificate in Environmental Management
