Job Summary:

As an Associate Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring client success by managing relationships and promoting NDBS' portfolio of software solutions and services to existing accounts. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a foundation in commercial roles to develop their career within a thriving sales and marketing team. You'll be supported by a collaborative environment and a robust marketing team specialising in product marketing, branding, and content generation.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and achieve successful outcomes with NDBS solutions and services.
  • Drive retention of client contracts and deliver profitable incremental sales.
  • Develop client accounts by broadening engagement and identifying opportunities for additional NDBS solutions.
  • Conduct client meetings, including discovery and requirements sessions, to align solutions with business needs.
  • Prepare and execute account plans for key clients.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales teams to deliver tailored solution demonstrations.
  • Present solution propositions to clients, addressing their business challenges and decision-making needs.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns by providing insights to generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and seminars to represent NDBS and foster client engagement.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and deliver high-quality quotations and proposals in line with company standards.
  • Support the sales process from opportunity identification through to securing purchase orders, ensuring smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Engage with clients on contract renewals, addressing queries, and ensuring positive experiences.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience: A minimum of two years in an entry-level commercial role, such as account management, customer success, or sales.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions in a business context.
  • Sales Acumen: Knowledge of sales processes and an ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
  • Adaptability: Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
  • Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Technology Awareness: While prior experience in ERP, CRM, or similar solutions is advantageous, it is not essential. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is key.
