Beaufort Care Group is a leading provider of residential childcare services for looked-after children aged 8-16, based in Bournemouth and surrounding areas. As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will take on a vital role in our children's lives, working as part of a team and acting as a trusted parental figure.

This role is perfect for those passionate about making a difference in children’s welfare and committed to providing exceptional residential care.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • A valid UK driving licence, proximity to Bournemouth, Ferndown, Ringwood and a willingness to pursue relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 4 in Children, Young People & Families Practitioner
  • Dedicated to child safeguarding
  • Effective communicator with a passion for working with children
  • Resilient and patient, capable of handling challenging behaviours
  • Proactive and creative in activity planning
  • Capable of practical ‘life skills’ including cooking, cleaning and good home management
  • Empathetic and detail-oriented, ensuring that every child’s needs are met and documented

  • Building strong, positive relationships with children

  • Ensuring a structured and safe home environment
  • Updating and maintaining care plans

What can you expect in return?

  • Competitive Pay: Starting at £11.55 per hour, with potential to increase upon successful qualification, plus sleep-in payments at £55 per shift and over-time rates

We will begin by shortlisting candidates for a telephone screening. If selected for an in-person interview, you will be required to complete a comprehensive application process.
