We aspire to be the leading life science company in this field. A new opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent Scientist – Formulations.


We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a background Nanoparticles / Biomaterials / Polymers.


Responsibilities

• Develop nanoparticle formulations for novel mRNA pharmaceuticals.

• Design study plans to optimize formulations for given RNA constructs and therapeutic intervention.

• Develop novel nanoparticle manufacturing technologies for in-house application and transfer to external (GMP) facilities.

• Closely interact with other teams, e.g., RNA synthesis, Biology, and Analytics within the NeoVac.

• Prepare documents and reports to management and internal and external partners.

• Assure high-quality standards of experimental research and development work in the laboratory


Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Physics, or related with a focus on Bio- / Nano-materials.

• Profound scientific expertise from own research in nanoparticle technology, colloidal sciences, pharmaceutical technology, or related fields

• Sound understanding of biophysical and physicochemical characterization techniques such as DLS, SAXS, DSC, NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, TEM, etc.

• 1-2 years of relevant industry experience would be advantageous

• Practical experience in nanoparticle assembly & characterization, preferably lipid- or polymer-based nanoparticles.
