We are working on behalf of an established brand who are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to join their marketing department to focus on several key brands particularly in the automotive industry. As Marketing Communications Manager you will be responsible for all communications across the brand, organising product launches, generating positive engagement and sales through effective use of PR and social media channels.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established and emerging brand which is about to undergo rapid expansion with several new products set to be launched in the next 2 years. As well as involvement in a rebrand project taking place later this year.

The successful candidate will have proven demonstrable experience in a similar Communications Manager role, with experience in the automotive sector advantageous.

This is a full-time office based role working in an outstanding office environment. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm with half hour lunch.

Role and responsibilities:

· As Communications Manager you will be responsible for formulating and implementing scheduled product launches and manage the ongoing PR and social media communications

  • Work collaboratively as a brand Marketing team and in partnership with an external creative agency to create and deliver a cohesive cross channel marketing strategy
  • Responsibility for all social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Youtube) and ensuring high levels of positive audience engagement and creative content
  • Closely manage all PR including press releases, press packs and website as well as organising and hosting press events for internal and external stakeholders
  • Cultivate excellent working relationships with industry specific journalists and media at regional and national level
  • Work innovatively and collaboratively to create new and novel approaches that generate media interest through effective communications
  • Discover partnership/sponsorship opportunities as part of the overall PR/communications strategy
  • Manage all internal comms in providing regular updates on launches and press reviews
  • Produce MI and ensure measurements are in place to easily identify PR effectiveness including target audience analysis
  • Support in a rebrand project taking place later this year
  • Adhoc support on product launch events when required

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven work history within a similar MARCOMMs, Communications Manager role essential
  • Social media experience with a proven ability to analyse data, formulate messaging and communicate information effectively with audiences
  • Automotive industry experience desirable
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Motivated and enthusiastic nature
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Resilient and agile
