Our client, a leading player in the insurance industry is seeking a Property Loss Adjuster to join their team. As a Property Loss Adjuster, you will utilise your technical expertise to proactively investigate property claims, ensuring compliance with client requirements and delivering exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Claims Investigation: Proactively investigate property claims and provide comprehensive reports, adhering to client requirements and service standards.
  • Policy Liability and Quantum: Assess policy liability and quantum, gathering evidence to support your recommendations.
  • Technical Excellence: Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise and commitment to innovation.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
  • Team Collaboration: Positively contribute as a team member, sharing knowledge and providing feedback.
  • Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of property claims.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with relevant parties, prioritizing telephone contact for proactive claims management.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to contractual/client SLAs and KPIs.
  • Issue Resolution: Be accountable for the satisfactory resolution of any issues.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Property Claims Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of property-related claims and principles.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, including negotiation and investigation abilities.
  • IT Competency: High IT competency and literacy.
  • Integrity and Leadership: Demonstrate personal and professional integrity and lead by example.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work positively and constructively as part of a team or independently.
  • Pressure Handling: Ability to work accurately under pressure while adhering to deadlines and service standards.
  • Flexibility: Maintain a flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Ideally hold APA/Cert CII/Dip CII/Cert CILA/Dip CILA/ACILA or other relevant qualifications or degrees.
  • Commercial Background: Strong commercial background and expertise in handling property claims.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in property claims.
