Job Summary:
Agora Talent is proud to be partnered with a leading menswear jewellery brand to help search for their next product design lead. In this role you will have the responsibility to develop and implement the creative vision and strategy for the brand, this will include seasonal collections, core collections, collaborations and one off marketing initiatives. Your responsibilities will include designing, from concept to completion (showroom ready physical samples) all products for the company; jewellery/accessories/ eyewear and any other collaboration projects and other special projects throughout the year.
Job Description/Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
Products Design and Developments-
- Conceptualising the products for each of the Hatton Labs categories/projects and developing new product designs that align with the brand identity and target market.
- Providing design technical sheets for each product & concept ready for the product developer.
- Overseeing the development of the products in communication with the product developer (including managing product development notes and feedback on images and questions, being responsible for feedback on all physical printed resin and material samples throughout a product/collection’s development).
- Ensuring all of the company's products have a 100% approved physical 3D printout prior to being sampled in metal/and or fabric each product must be 100% signed off by the founder before being physically sampled by the factory.
- Ensuring all product markings (logo/ made in/ size/ hallmarks etc) have been placed and communicated to the product developer prior to being sampled in metal/ and or fabric.
- Work together with the Production team on research and sourcing of materials, gemstones, and other components required for jewellery production.
- Support the production process by coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
General Creative Department Duties-
- Involvement and contribution on photo/video shoots and all elements involved.
- Working together with the brand manager to co-ordinate and manage showrooms/store pop-ups / installations / events / visual merchandising etc.
- Contribution and assistance on creative direction to developing product packaging, product branding material, displays and marketing materials that aligns with products and collections concept and execution.
- Producing design documents, project proposals, PDF including collection lookbooks, line sheets, sales manuals, brand books, collaboration proposals, mock-ups etc.
- Creatively generating new & innovative ideas / concepts and product proposals throughout the year to help build, drive & market the brand inline with overall business objectives.
- Conduct and report on market research to identify emerging trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
- Research and report on industry trends, attending trade shows, exhibitions, and workshops to gather inspiration and knowledge.
