We're looking for a passionate and skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team within defence infrastructure working across exciting projects.

Your missions:

As part of our expansion and ongoing development of these activities, Assystem is actively seeking a Project Engineer capable of supporting the management of work packages. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to the successful completion of these vital projects by:

Providing recommendations to the Project team where deviations to schedule, cost, safety, or quality requirements are identified.
Interfacing with the Project team (Engineering Team and PM) to identify and report progress, scope changes, meeting actions, issues, and risks.
Producing progress reports, both internally and externally, and presenting to stakeholders.
Producing and maintaining the Risk Register (internal and external) and Early Warning Registers.
Managing technical deliverables and supporting the project team regarding client change requests.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills to be successful:

✔️ Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Engineering or Project Management discipline.
✔️ Past project management or project engineering experience.
✔️ Experience managing elements of scheduling, project cost capture/reporting.
✔️ Excellent understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with a desire to produce high-quality products.
✔️ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, translate product drawings into actionable process information, and develop design ideas and plans successfully.
✔️ Ability to use MS Project or Primavera P6 is desirable.
✔️ NEC4 contract experience would be beneficial.

Additional Information

Security clearance:

Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level. Can start on BPSS.
