Location: We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment with the candidate required to travel to a local Arqiva office up to twice a week (Crawley Court Winchester, London, Huddersfield)

Role Purpose:
The Senior Transition Analyst is a senior role that provides transition leadership on high risk and emerging technology growth initiatives. This role works closely with Service Architects, including Service Data Architect and Service Architect – Business Readiness.
Key Accountabilities:
• Responsible for providing consultancy on Operational Readiness to growth initiatives, including guidance on commercial implications and relevant scope of operational readiness activities throughout the lifecycle of an initiative
• Responsible for working with Service Architect – Operational Lead and Service Architect – Business readiness to ensure managed service is appropriately scoped, built and transitioned
• Accountable for identifying operational risk where operational readiness is compromised, and work with Delivery Manager and Commercial / Account Directors to ensure a successful outcome.
• Responsible for assuring new or changed services are aligned with the customers’ requirements by maximising existing capabilities and minimising the impact to customers, existing services and operational teams
• Responsible for developing transition plans, and controls & monitors all activities relating to the successful Transition & Handover of service requirements into live operations for new customers, services and solutions.
• Responsible for maintains records and provides management information on resource use, project/transition progress, and mitigation of risk.
• Responsible for standing in for Service Validation & Transition Manager during periods of sick or annual leave
• Supports Service Validation & Transition Manager in ensuring Service Transition is well understood and followed, through coaching stakeholders and influencing decision makers
• Ensures final delivery meets the agreed customer and stakeholder requirements specified in the Service Design.
Required Expertise:
• Experience providing coaching and consultancy to a virtual team across business and technical functions
• Significant experience in continual improvement activities
• Significant experience in Transitioning complex programmes of work and emerging technologies in to operations
• Experience of working in Telecomms, Media or Utilities an advantage
• Experience working with agile deliveries preferred
• Experience using Jira and Confluence an advantage
Required Technical / Professional Skillset(s):
• Effective communicator, able to engage, listen and provide feedback and guidance
• Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise multiple tasks of varying size over varied timescales
• Understand Strategy and Business Deliverables and convert into agile practical operational readiness to facilitate success.
