The Role

As the Head of Finance, you’ll be a crucial strategic partner to the Managing Director, delivering accurate and insightful financial guidance. This role suits an experienced and qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with over 3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within fast-paced, growing SMEs. There’s a genuine opportunity to progress to a Finance Director role if you prove your capabilities and as the business continues to expand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial forecasting, delivering comprehensive monthly reports, and managing budgets to optimise cash flow.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to increase gross profit, oversee divisional reporting, and provide in-depth data analysis.
  • Develop and implement the company's commercial strategy, mentor a talented finance team, and actively participate in weekly leadership meetings.
  • Collaborate with department heads to guide financial decision-making, maintaining confidentiality and offering financial insights across departments.


What We're Looking For

  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a proven track record and over 3 years of experience, ideally gained in a rapidly growing SME environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
