On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Deal Capture Support Analyst for a 6 month rolling contract based in London.

Purpose of the Role:

Our client is looking for a dynamic individual to work as a Deal Capture Support Analyst for the Fixed Income DCS (FI) APS team in its London office. Users of the application work in the Front, Middle and Back Office globally. There are a number of diverse reporting encompassing client flows, profitability (PnL), client contribution and regulatory.

Responsibilities of the role:

As a Deal Capture Support Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • SQL scripting and monitoring, Geneos setup, and FIX protocol/market data field.
  • Senior Application Support. Providing support for Rates & Repo (Fixed Income) platforms, particularly using APEX software.
  • Emphasizing a good mindset and the ability to handle a Repo platform (The role is 30% technical and 70% functional).
  • User Support, resolving end-user queries related to system issues, ensure timely data feeds, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • System Management, managing change processes, test and release new system versions, document system features and problem-solving guides, and enhance procedures for increased system reliability.

What we require from the Deal Capture Support Analyst:

  • A strong understanding of Fixed Income products, particularly Rates & Repo.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with monitoring, Geneos setup, and FIX protocol/market data field.
  • Must possess excellent documentation skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a strong track record of thinking outside the box. Being highly self-motivated, organized, and diligent is crucial.
  • Must be capable of resolving system issues, ensuring data accuracy, and conducting root cause analysis. Experience with fixed data and protocol management is required.
  • Python experience (desirable).
