Ideal Requirements for an Environment, Health & Safety Advisor

  • Demonstrated experience of HS&E management and issues, gained by a similar position in the chemical, pharmaceutical industry, or other highly regulated sectors.
  • Environmental qualification and associate membership of IEMA or equivalent or working towards the qualification.
  • A good working knowledge of the application of HS&E management.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.


Role Responsibilities for an Environment, Health & Safety Advisor

  • Liaise with H&S representatives, employees, and other stakeholders to assist in identifying, developing, and implementing continuous improvements of HS&E standards.
  • Assists with the development, implementation, and monitoring of EHS policies, procedures, and strategies in order to meet best practice HS&E management standards.
  • Design and deliver training to staff of all levels within the organisation on various EHS subject areas.
