Job Purpose

Support the Product Head in developing and maintaining a diverse range of products to achieve business plan targets and objectives. Identify and exploit new product opportunities while providing comprehensive product and technical support both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities


  • Information Management: Gather and present crucial information to the Product Head regularly and as needed regarding the product range.
  • Product Management: Oversee, maintain, and review the product range to ensure they remain current, competitive, compliant, and capable of meeting business targets for allocated accounts and schemes.
  • Pricing Analysis: Analyze data, broker intelligence, and input from the pricing and MI team to make pricing recommendations to the Product Head.
  • Product Development: Manage the development of new products and make necessary amendments to existing ones.
  • Performance Metrics: Understand and utilize underwriting performance metrics to compile and present key account information to the Product Head as scheduled, and address ad-hoc product, pricing, and MI requests.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on industry developments and opportunities through broker intelligence, media, and personal contacts.
  • Account Management: Manage key accounts and business relationships to maintain and grow profitable accounts, explore new product opportunities, and resolve any existing issues.
  • Broker Relationships: Foster relationships with brokers to support business plan needs and gather customer feedback.
  • Policy Support: Investigate and respond to policy-related queries from the operational area.


About You


  • Previous experience in the home insurance market.
  • Strong commercial awareness and market knowledge.
  • Familiarity with key performance indicators.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, including presenting observations and proposing actions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently, using initiative.
  • Good knowledge of Excel functions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAS software is beneficial.
