Job Description:


We are seeking a motivated and organised Sales and Marketing Specialist to support our business development and marketing efforts. This role is essential to maintaining our competitive edge in the industry and helping Thames Cleaning reach new clients. You’ll work closely with our business development and operations teams, assisting with bids, presentations, marketing initiatives, and data tracking.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Bid and Proposal Support: Assist in preparing and formatting bid documents, presentations, and proposals to support our business development team in securing new contracts.
  • Marketing Content and Communication: Support marketing efforts by creating and sending marketing emails, managing Social Media posts, telephoning prospective clients, and updating content on the company website to reflect current initiatives and service offerings.
  • Sales Data Management: Update and maintain sales records, lead information, and statistics, ensuring all information is accurate and available for reporting.
  • Market Research: Conduct basic research on industry trends and competitor activities to support our strategy.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks as required, such as document organisation, calendar management for marketing initiatives, and scheduling meetings.


Key Requirements:


  • Experience in Administration: Previous experience in an administrative or marketing support role is essential, ideally within a service-based industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic website management. Experience with LinkedIn and email marketing platforms is a plus.
  • Proactive and Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and bring ideas to enhance marketing initiatives.


Additional Information:


This is a part-time role (20 hours per week), which can grow pending on the success of the applicant. Days and hours can be negotiated to suit the right candidate’s availability.
