Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership and Vision:

  • Develop and implement the overall design strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals.

Product Design:

  • Oversee the design and development of new vehicles, from concept to production.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure cohesive product development.
  • Communicate design concepts and vision to stakeholders, including executives, investors, and customers.
  • Present design proposals and updates to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Operational Excellence:

  • Develop and implement design processes, standards, and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of design tools and technologies.
  • Monitor and optimize design performance metrics to achieve continuous improvement.
  1. Budget and Resource Management:
  • Develop and manage the design budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Hire, train, and retain top design talent, building a diverse and skilled team.
  • Evaluate and manage vendor relationships and external design partnerships.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Automotive Design, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience in leading design teams and managing design projects from concept to production.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and successful automotive design projects.
