Remote home based, but ability to travel to the Lincoln office
Hourly Rate £13.50 + holiday pay
Start Date: Tuesday 27th August for 2 months (may be extended if needed)
Our client, a professional membership body is currently recruiting for a temporary Membership & Customer Service Officer.
The purpose of the role is to handle telephone and email enquiries relating to their new website, specifically assist members with the new registration process, provide guidance on navigation of the new website, and assist with technical issues.
The role of the Membership & Customer Service Officer
- Handle website navigation and registration enquiries via telephone & email
- Handle website navigation and registration enquiries via email
- Liaison with existing team members to hand off detailed membership enquiries in a timely fashion
- Use Dynamics 365, Microsoft Office and any other core applications to complete tasks
About you
Person Specification
- Previous experience of customer-facing service or sales function
- Previous experience of and ability to foster strong customer focused relationships
- Intermediate knowledge and use of MS Office applications
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent people skills, with experience in fostering strong stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, to self-motivate and work on own initiative
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills, able to juggle conflicting priorities
Desirable
- Personal interest in environment and sustainability
- Comfortable with inbound and outbound call types
- Experience of working in a fast-paced organisation
- Experience of working for a membership or similar not-for-profit organisation
- Experience of using computer-based CRM systems (such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, SAP C4C etc)
