The Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Engineer to take ownership of quality management systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is a key position within the organization with significant visibility and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead quality management systems aligned with IATF16949, ISO 9001, and ISO14001
- Manage Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs) and PPAP processes
- Lead internal and supplier audits
- Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
- Oversee product quality assurance and validation
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Deliver quality systems training
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in automotive quality systems
- Demonstrable experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001
- Lead auditor credentials
- Strong background in quality control methodologies (SPC, PFMEA, 8D)
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite and quality management systems
- Must be willing to travel occasionally for supplier audits
