Your new company
Your new job working as a Commercial Account Handler will be working for will be working for an Independent Lloyd’s Broker with their office in Maidstone. They employing over 200 staff from five offices around the UK. They have grown rapidly in the last 20 years to become one of the top independent brokers in the UK dealing with over 16,000+ clients. Having completed numerous successful acquisitions, the company has secured further funding to continue its ambitious growth plans. Due to growth within their Commercial division, a permanent place for a Commercial Account Handler has arisen.
Your new role
Your new role working as a Commercial Account handler means you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive insurance service to existing and potential new clients, which includes providing quotations on all types of Commercial Insurance whether it be face to face or via the telephone. Other duties will include placing cover when needed, handling the renewals and dealing with mid-term adjustments. You will handle your own clients end to end and work with Account Executives
What you will need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Commercial Account Handler will contribute to the success in securing this role. Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in Commercial insurance within the following classes of insurance; Construction, property, casualty, motor and professional liability, ideally within a Brokers. You will have a good understanding of the Insurance market and able to talk to directly to clients with confidence. You will also be able to effectively plan, organise and manage your time efficiently as well as having excellent communication skills.
