I am working with an International Bank, looking for a Deputy Chief Risk Officer. You will be providing strategic support and ensuring the Bank's risk management framework is robust and effective.
In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the implementation of processes, tools, and reporting systems to continuously monitor financial risks and capital adequacy. You will also lead or oversee strategic risk management projects and contribute to the development and implementation of supporting policies.
A critical aspect of this role is staying ahead of emerging risk issues, both internal and external, and escalating them to senior management. You will also play a key role in representing senior risk management on various committees.
Deep Risk Management Expertise
To be successful, you will have in-depth knowledge and experience of the Risk function and risk governance. A strong grasp of the relevant regulatory landscape, including the FCA, PRA, and Bank of England regulations, is essential.
You will possess a deep understanding of IFRS-9 and experience with capital regulation requirements, including credit risk mitigation strategies. Your experience will also encompass credit risk analysis, market risk assessment, capital and liquidity stress testing, and operational risk management.
