Day Lewis is a unique find in the Pharmacy world and in turn we are looking for someone just as special to join our HR team as an experienced HR Business Partner working across Support Office, Warehouse and Projects. We need someone confident in their abilities, ready to hit the ground running, to provide a first-class service to the company and our employees. Ideally you will be adept at working with different personalities, skill sets and be able to multitask efficiently.


This position requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of working

collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive HR initiatives that align with organisational goals.

In this role the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Support Office and Warehouse Teams by managing, implementing and further developing the full employee lifecycle experience, leading HR projects and ensuring effective compensation and benefits administration and communication.


Reporting into our Head of People the role will involve the following responsibilities:


  • Ensuring that all internal and external legal regulations are complied with such as Home Office, HMRC & GDPR, internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the L&D Team deliver an L&D program for all the SO & Warehouse Team Employees at all levels.
  • Provide HR support in an advisory capacity to all parts of the Day Lewis business.
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects and partner with key stakeholders to assess project requirements.
  • Provide expertise and support in areas such as organizational design, culture development, and employee relations.
  • To manage & develop your line reports.
  • Recruitment – for the Support Office and Warehouse business units and supporting satellite offices (Wells Offshore), including Contracts, onboarding, inductions.
  • Manage the Apprenticeship Program- for your appointed business units.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness in the market and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in rolling out DE&I initiatives and working on launching, embedding, and rewarding behavior alignment around Company Culture and Values
  • Employee Handbook – review & keep up to date with changes in employment law or company policies.
  • HR Compliance – Regulatory, Legal & Company Procedures
  • Ad hoc UK based travel

To be successful, we would be looking for candidates to possess the following:


  • CIPD qualified or qualified by proven experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, with a focus on HR KPI’s/Analytics, projects, employee lifecycle, and C & B’.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, hybrid and fast-paced environment.
  • Highly proficient in HRIS.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word Powerpoint).
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management, Project Management and Communication Skills.
  • Experience within a Support Office and Warehouse based role is essential.
