Are you an experienced governance professional looking for your next challenge? Our client is a leading financial services company with global reach is seeking a talented Governance Manager to join their team in their London head office


Role Overview

This pivotal position offers a competitive package of £80,000 + bonus + benefits, reflecting the importance of the role within the organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in supporting and advising boards and committees across the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the governance framework, ensuring effective reporting and escalation
  • Lead coordination of board and committee meetings
  • Setting agendas and overseeing board pack production
  • Annually review the effectiveness of board and committees
  • Manage data protection governance
  • Support governance initiatives and projects
  • Oversight of legal agreements and also assist with statutory filings
  • Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders


Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone with:

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience
  • Ideally CGI qualified or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong understanding of company law and FCA governance expectations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
