Digital Markets Infrastructure (DMI) is an ambitious large-scale programme to enable the use of blockchain architecture for financial infrastructure use cases. The work is focused on the tokenisation, trading, and settlement of financial instruments as digital assets. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the partnerships and ecosystem relationships for the project, specifically focusing on the value improvement for the programme on an ongoing basis. The programme is highly interdependent with continuous interaction between Product, Client Engagement, Operations, and Regulation, which means candidates with experience of working on large projects in financial markets is highly desirable.

In this role, you will take ownership for identifying, curating, encouraging, and delivering strategically meaningful partnerships to support improving the product offering, accelerating the execution, and driving adoption of the solution by the wider ecosystem.

Key responsibilities of the role:
  • Lead the selection of technology platforms and channel partners that accelerate the development and adoption of Digital Markets Infrastructure (DMI).
  • Conduct ongoing market landscape analysis of relevant companies and technology solutions.
  • Work closely with Product leadership to drive and inform functionality based on ecosystem insights
  • Proactively identify and monitor potential partners and vendors.
  • Lead evaluation and commercial negotiation of select Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), working closely with internal partners, including Technology, Strategy, Corporate Development and Procurement functions.
  • Steer relationships to a close and handle ongoing liaison with successful selected partners.
  • Support Strategy and Corporate Development functions with M&A landscaping, opportunity analysis, and partnership definition.
  • Communicate digital asset product vision and strategy to internal and external collaborators
  • Represent the Product leadership and support the wider Digital Assets team as the need arises
Essential experience and skills required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Business, Finance)
  • Proven experience in product management for digital asset solutions or services in the fintech or financial services industry
  • Proven experience building relationships with partners and the wider digital asset ecosystem to deliver impactful products and services
  • Understanding of digital assets, cryptoassets, cryptoeconomics, tokenized assets and stablecoins
  • Understanding of blockchain technology and its application in an operational business environment
  • Strong intellectual ability and collaborator leadership skills and ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Superb communication skills; able to articulate ideas to internal and external audiences across all levels of seniority and collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Ability to work optimally at all levels of an organization and build positive relationships with team members, managers, and senior executives across the firm
