This role will suit an experienced Data Head to lead a transformative data journey in Investment & Asset Management? You will be joining a global leader where we're building a centralized Data Management capability to drive operational efficiency and unlock the full potential of data assets. Candidates with Investment Data, Asset Managment Data or Asset Servicing experience will be given preference.



Introduction: As part of our strategic initiative, we're seeking a visionary Head of Data Management to establish and lead our global data strategy. This pivotal role will play a crucial part in ensuring that data is not only accurate and timely but also leveraged to its fullest extent to support business operations and strategic decision-making across the organization.




✨ Your Mission:


  • Optimize Dataflows: Streamline and enhance data processes to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive Actionable Insights: Transform raw data into valuable insights that empower strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Uphold rigorous standards to guarantee data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across Systems of Record.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Establish a Data Management Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in data management practices globally.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead the implementation of optimized global operating models for efficient data management and governance.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and change functions to align data-related business requirements with operational planning and workflows.



What You Bring:



  • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in managing global Data Management teams within complex organizational structures.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of Asset Management and investment data, coupled with knowledge of regulatory requirements and emerging trends in the data management landscape.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with senior business stakeholders, including C-level executives, to drive consensus and action.



Core Requirements:


  • Defining data standards, improving processes, and policies to enhance data quality and effectiveness.
  • Experience with data architectures such as data warehouses, data lakes, etc.
  • Familiarity with both on-premises and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Utilization of data visualization tools to improve enterprise reporting capabilities.
  • Project experience in system developments, enhancements, or implementations.
  • Expertise in Finbourne or similar investment data management platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment data lifecycle and best practices.
