Responsibilities of the role


The Teaching and Learning Coordinator is responsible for guiding and enriching the daily pedagogical practices within our Reggio-inspired nursery, ensuring that planning and activities align with child development principles and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This role involves supporting the teaching team in their knowledge and practice, ensuring that interactions, activities, and learning environments reflect Reggio-inspired philosophy, meet children’s developmental needs, and foster an enriched, enquiry-led learning experience.


Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year

About us…

Our innovative and creative Reggio Emilia inspired, Farm and Forest Schools Nursery Group has been recognised for their approach to Early Years Education around the world. Nurturing confident, caring and curious children is our passion and our promise.

We have four INCREDIBLE and unique nurseries. We employ professional artists in each nursery to work with children, enabling their enquiring minds to develop, in dedicated creative studios which are called Ateliers.

We have large free-flowing gardens and farm schools with a friendly pig, Woody, who roams around the garden with the children, Miniature Donkeys, chickens, quails, rabbits and guinea pigs.

Experience

Proven experience in early years settings, with a strong background in child-centred, enquiry-based pedagogies, ideally within a Reggio-inspired environment.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent mentoring and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Proficient in documentation and reflective practices, with a strong commitment to high-quality learning environments.

Salary: upto £32,000 per annum

Important information:

· Our nurseries operate 51 weeks per year, from 7.30 am - 6 pm. We do not offer school hours or term-time only positions.
