We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Womenswear Production Manager to join our team in London.


Position Overview: The Womenswear Production Manager is a senior role responsible for overseeing the production of Yuzefi's product lines, including CMT and fully factored products produced in Spain, Portugal, and China. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing production processes, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with a meticulous approach to production management and supplier relations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management:
  • Management of the production calendar and critical path
  • Take over the production process from the Product Development Manager and oversee the entire production lifecycle.
  • Manage the production of CMT and fully factored products, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor production schedules and coordinate with factories in Spain, Portugal, and China to ensure timely delivery of products to the warehouse.
  • Implement and maintain efficient production workflows to optimize output and minimize delays.
  • Quality Control and Standards:
  • Maintain and exceed Yuzefi’s quality standards by conducting regular quality control checks at all production stages.
  • Ensure that all products meet the brand’s specifications and standards before shipment.
  • Address and resolve any production issues promptly to prevent disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Supplier Management:
  • Onboard and manage relationships with suppliers and factories, ensuring they align with Yuzefi’s quality and ethical standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable margins while maintaining product quality.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with brand requirements.
  • Financial Management:
  • Manage production budgets and costs, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve target margins.
  • Monitor and report on production expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with the Product Development, Design, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the production process.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on production status, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to keep Yuzefi’s production processes at the forefront of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textiles, Production Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the fashion industry, preferably with experience in womenswear.
  • Proven track record of managing production processes across multiple countries, particularly Spain, Portugal, and China.
  • Strong understanding of CMT and fully factored production methods.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Being comfortable in a small team setting is key.
  • Proficiency in production management software and tools. Knowledge of Zedonk is a big plus.
