We are currently supporting a client with their search for a Group Head of Talent Management & Talent Acquisition.
The Group Head of Talent Management and Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the talent strategy across the organisation, ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of top talent. This role involves creating and implementing programs that support talent acquisition, talent development, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement. The individual in this role will work closely with senior leadership to align talent initiatives with business objectives.
Role Ownership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global talent strategy that encompasses attraction, employer brand, talent development, performance, and succession planning.
- Partner with senior leadership around the world to understand current and future key talent requirements and proactively manage talent initiatives to meet those needs.
- Lead the development of employer branding and talent marketing to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice and attract diverse talent from around the world.
- Support diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) initiatives, working with a diverse population to ensure that every colleague can reach their full potential at work.
- Be the global lead for their Employee Engagement Survey and the work that flows from it including sharing good practice and supporting teams with particular challenges.
- Design and oversee talent management programs to nurture a high-performance culture, including succession planning, career development and training initiatives.
- Implement best practices for performance management, including goal setting, performance reviews, feedback mechanisms, and talent calibration sessions.
- Provide guidance, coaching and support to the talent acquisition team, to ensure recruitment processes are efficient, effective, and attract top talent to the organisation.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on key talent metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, turnover rates, employee engagement and performance metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition and talent management, and leverage this knowledge to continuously improve and innovate their talent practices.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build relationships and stay connected to the broader talent community.
