Yolk Recruitment are working with a market leader in advanced system integration within the energy sector. They're investing heavily in their Stone site and are looking for an experienced Wireperson to join their energy division.

If successful you will join an experienced team working within the Electrical control wire assembly and test team working across a variety of small and large scale projects for clients within the energy industry.

Due to the industry you will need to be eligible for BPSS clearance.

This is what you will be doing:

  • The assembly and wiring of electrical components, of varying size and complexity using drawings, parts lists and specifications
  • Mechanical assembly of cubicles and framework
  • Bench assembly of electrical sub-assemblies
  • Quality of own work and rework identified during inspection and test
  • Working to agreed on company standards and procedures
  • Completion of assembly record cards to ensure traceability and identification of serial numbered components
  • Updating electronic issues log and communicating directly with responsible design engineers

The experience you will bring to the team:

  • At least 2 years experience
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings
  • Ability to manage your time to successfully complete all assigned tasks within agreed timescales
  • Experience leading a production bay to ensure everyone within that bay is working to the correct standards
  • Experience completing assembly record cards.
