Senior Account Manager

As a Senior Account Manager at EMERGE, you will be a key support for Account Director and/or Senior Account Director on some of the agency's key fashion accounts, as well as the ability to lead on selected fashion and lifestyle clients. You will be instrumental in the development, evolution and delivery of your brands’ PR strategy, working with your clients to ensure a creative and strategic approach to communications.
You will be expected to confidently lead PR projects and events, take ownership of specific projects without supervision, provide counsel to clients' teams, quickly and considerately problem-solve, monitor KPIs, and consistently look for ways in which we can pivot and innovate to achieve against our clients' objectives.
A Senior Account Manager at EMERGE is a self-starter, but also a true team player and committed mentor with the ability to lead and motivate others. With strong relationships with editors, talents, talent agents and influencers, you will possess substantive industry knowledge and passion to generate ideas and solutions to everyday challenges.
- Work with the supporting team to ideate and conceptualise seasonal communications strategy that executes a brand's vision and will successfully deliver to the target consumer base
- Full 360 comms approach across press office, brand partnerships, business and founder profiling, and talent, KOL and influencer community build
- Management and execution of a multitude of events from launch parties, press dinners, talent performances and pop-ups
- Setting and adhering to KPIs linked to scope over time and fees (monthly/quarterly/biannually)
- Deliver and manage accurate budgets required for the execution of projects and PR roadmaps
- Win client trust with consistently positive communications, build and develop long-term relationships with all members of the client team
- A reliable and informed strategic client lead and council
- Liaise closely with internal and external teams, proactively managing workflow and resolving issues
- Successfully managing to both more senior and junior members of the business ensure even workflow to deliver client results
- Working with AE/SAE/AMs to ensure consistent press office cut through for clients
- Proactively seeking new contacts, building and maintaining strong relationships with editors, influencers and talent agents to strengthen client delivery
- Develop, write and edit PR materials and secure client sign-off as appropriate.
- Bring innovative and new ideas to the table with regard to events, mailings and activations that will support the client’s objectives
- Strong attention to detail and numerical proficiency i.e. overseeing administrative tasks
- Manage the reporting process to demonstrate the value of programs and their effectiveness to maximize results and provide key future learnings
- Able to lead, encourage, mentor, and develop junior staff members, providing constructive feedback and support
- Support the AD/SAD with internal team efficiency and resourcing
- Reviewing timesheets and account resource, being across over or under-servicing and flagging to the AD/SAD
- Staying ahead of emerging trends, content styles, platform advances and talents; sharing learnings internally and externally
- Contribute to new business pitches and identify relevant new business acquisition opportunities for EMERGE
- 4+ years’ experience preferably handling multiple fashion, and/or lifestyle brands with outstanding communication skills
- Exposure to a wide range of moments in a brand cycle, for example, product launches, re-brands, or business announcements
- A strong industry network and contacts with senior journalists, editors, talents, influencers and talent managers
- Proven track record of successfully implementing PR campaigns for a range of clients
- Strong and confident presenter
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
- Highly engaged in contemporary culture i.e. fashion, music, social media
