POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Demand & Supply Planner will be responsible for managing a portfolio of around 3000 SKUs and its associated client demand, maintaining accurate inventory levels to meet the requirements of the UK, Europe, and Americas region.


This role requires the ideal candidate to work with a client-centric approach, using customer data to inform forecast and planning, and ensuring the stock level is optimal to enable a high order fill rate while minimizing excessive stock levels.


RESPONSIBILITIES

ROUTINE PLANNING

  • Develop and analyse accurate forecasts for the UK, Europe, and Americas region for the hotel segment based on historical client demand trends and driving factors
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to forecast and plan new product/new client start dates, ensuring the products arrive in a timely manner and in line with the sale s forecast
  • Forefront the efficient movement of materials and the PO requirement for UK/EU/Americas
  • WarehousesPerform ad-hoc stock analysis to assist with potential new client onboarding within a reasonable lead time
  • Notify key stakeholders of the supply gaps and mitigate s upply riskMaintain forecast integrity by updating MRP on a regular basis
  • Ensures the availability of materials, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at acceptble levels
  • Monitoring the expiry status of stock in each warehouse location to ensure minimum wastage and excess stock being stored


SALES AND OPERATIONS PLANNING

  • Prepare data and participate in monthly S&OP meetings with Hotel’s Sales & Marketing Teams, respectively. Agree and assign actions with key stakeholders to improve inventory efficiency
  • Proactively assess the risks associated with demand spikes and though, then collaborate with key stakeholders to develop alternatives that assure customer fulfilment, inventory stability, and capacity maintenance
  • Utilize data to implement new forecasting and replenishment methods to increase SKU productivity and logistic efficiency
  • Develop action plans for SLOB products and expired stocks
  • Manage the customer transition and PIPO (Phase-in/Phase-Out) process


STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Lead meetings with Key Stakeholders, providing updated forecasts based on trends and making recommendations to resolve product issues
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and motivational spirit with stakeholders at all times
  • Working and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines
  • Be a confident decision-maker, in situations of ambiguity and clearly convey the reasoning for your decision


ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with major forecasting in a heavy SKU environment
  • Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP B1 of SAP MRP
  • Adept with high frequency of PIPO process
  • Proficiency in statistics, forecasting, and forecasting methods with an understanding of financial and operational impacts
  • Advanced Excel skillsNumber-focused and accurate data analysis skill
  • Ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
