You will play a key leadership role, overseeing the finance business partnering function and leading a team to deliver a comprehensive, high-quality financial service.


What you will do:


  • Lead and manage the Business Partnering team, providing expert financial support and guidance to budget managers across the institution.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop the annual budget and medium-term financial plan.
  • Oversee the production of monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts, and annual statements.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and lead on the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
  • Deputise for the Head of Finance and represent the Group at meetings with external stakeholders.


You will be a great fit if you have:


  • A CCAB (ICAEW / ACCA / CIPFA) or CIMA qualification.
  • Significant experience in financial management, ideally within the education sector.
  • Strong management accounting and financial accounting skills.
  • Experience in producing annual statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to driving positive change and innovation.
