Our London Market Insurance client are looking for a Finance Operations Consultant to join their Strategic Operations function to take responsibility for Finance-related operational issues and process improvements.
This role will work closely with the Strategic Director to ensure Finance initiatives align to strategic objectives and to monitor and update Finance business processes, ensuring they are adapted to reflect changes across the wider business.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following experience:
- Insurance experience is essential.
- Core knowledge of Underwriting, Reinsurance, Finance, Compliance and Claims is essential.
- Financial and regulatory understanding is essential - Solvency II, Financial Reconciliation, Lloyd's Processing.
- Proficiency in accounting principals including financial statements and GAAP accounting processes is essential.
- Experience in Business Process Improvement and process enhancement is essential.
- Knowledge of Risk Management strategies.
- Good stakeholder management skills, up to C-Suite/Exec level.
- Able to facilitate, influence and drive resolution across stakeholders.
This is a hybrid position, requiring a presence in the City of London office 3 times per week.
