Job Summary:

As a Crude Oil Paper Trader, you will be a vital part of our growing team of exceptional traders. You will manage portfolios of risk, employing both systematic and discretionary strategies to achieve positive returns. Your expertise in trading crude oil and refined products will be crucial in contributing to our success.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute trades in crude oil and refined products markets.
  • Manage and optimize a portfolio of risk within the energy sector.
  • Collaborate with a team of traders to develop and implement trading strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and analyse data to inform trading decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of trading systems and processes.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years trading experience, including senior-level experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving positive P&L.
  • Direct experience in trading crude oil and/or refined products.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed trading decisions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a systematic trading environment.
  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in trading software and analytical tools.
  • London-based candidates are preferred, but candidates based in Dubai will also be considered.
